The art. 5 of the Legislative Decree. 185/1999 ensures the consumer the right to withdraw from the purchase contract: on the Ascot Sport website, the Customer can exercise this right within 7 days, starting from the actual date of delivery of the order by the courier.

To exercise their right of return, the Customer must access the site, in the HOME menu, to the sections with the return form and goods exchange form, and fill in all the necessary fields on the chosen form. to then forward it to the Ascot Sport Customer Service using the Send button. On the form you will need to indicate which item you wish to return, specifying the product code, size and colour, as well as any other details and the reasons for the return or exchange request. 

To fill out the online forms, you must also indicate the invoice/order number where the product in question appears. Customers in possession of a personal account on the site can find this number in their order history, or in the body of the order confirmation email, received from Ascot Sport Customer Service when sending the order. 

Customers without a personal account can trace their invoice/order number exclusively via the automatic order confirmation email received previously. 

Once the completed form has been sent by the Customer, Customer Service will examine the request and subsequently communicate to the Customer the confirmation to proceed by authorizing the return, and may also provide any instructions on how to return the products.

The Customer will choose the courier or postal service to which to commission the return, however it is advisable to always rely on carriers who issue the necessary receipts for collection and delivery, and to also insure the shipment.

Shipping costs relating to returns are borne by the Customer, except in cases where the product being returned is a defective item. (see Defective items section [bz1] )

The right of withdrawal is subject to the following limitations:

  • applies to the entire product purchased;
  • applies only to goods that satisfy the prerequisites of integrity and completeness: the items must therefore be returned in their original packaging (on which no adhesive tape or labels must have been applied) and complete with all parts and accessories, including the packaging and transport documentation;
  • the item labels must not have been removed or tampered with;
  • the items must not have been used;
  • the items must not have been damaged;
  • until confirmation of receipt by our warehouse, the return shipment is under the full responsibility of the Customer.

The Owner is not responsible in any way for theft, damage or loss of products returned via uninsured shipments.

The Owner will reimburse the Customer the net amount of the returned goods - excluding any shipping costs incurred or discounts - within 14 days of the arrival of the returns in the warehouse, in the manner illustrated in detail in the specific section.

 

DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS:

If the returned item is a defective product, the costs of return shipping will not be borne by the Customer, but by the Owner.

If the Customer receives a defective or damaged product, he must promptly inform Customer Service via e-mail, attaching images of the faulty product.

If it is ascertained that the defectiveness of the product is not attributable to damage suffered during transport or to the Customer's responsibility, the Owner will replace the defective item at his own expense, or reimburse the Customer: within 14 days the Customer Service will therefore be able to proceed with the collection of the goods and to send the replacement product in place of the defective one, or to refund the entire cost (shipping included).

 

PRODUCTS DAMAGED DURING TRANSPORT:

If during the return shipment at the Customer's expense the product is damaged for reasons not attributable to the Customer himself, but attributable to the courier, once the goods have been received the Owner will inform the Customer so that he can forward a complaint to the courier to whom he is entrusted, so that he can obtain reimbursement not only of the costs relating to the products ordered, but also of the shipping costs incurred to return the goods.

It is therefore recommended to always insure return shipments, in order to avoid misunderstandings and inconveniences.
